    Hi ChattyPatty,
Forensic Nursing is exciting and I do plan to talk with some of our coroners
and plan to take the Death Investigation Course that's offered through the
State ME's office. I would like to do some "intern work" with a coroner or ME
to get some experience. I am focusing most of my Legal Nurse Consulting
toward the Criminal aspects (elder abuse, domestic violence, child abuse,
wrongful deaths, DUI/manslaughter, etc) but I won't turn down the usual
med-mal, etc. I will stay on fulltime at the hospital for at least 2 more years
untill I get my consulting practice up and going. I almost have too many "pots in the fire". But I'm ready to slow down and work from home and the consulting is something I can do even when I "retire" from the rat-race
    at the hospital.

Hello from shellyjellybelly(don't let the name fool ya). I'm from Minnesota and I love it here even though it's a bit 'back woods'. I've been an RN for 14 years and I have worked many areas of nursing. I'm an ants in the pants kinda person but sometimes I'll slow down to the current pace of things. I'm looking for nurses to keep me in check. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!!oh and I love my musical kids and music in general. I'm training them to be my meal tickets when I retire from nursing.LOL
