Inver Hills/ Century College hopeful

Qwinlyn- I have everything but nutrition (but my Chem is like 8 years old, so I'm not sure if they'll take it, probably not...) I had a problem getting into the tracker, maybe they just sent the email because I hadn't logged in? Fingers crossed for all of us!!

I know. I'm seriously dying. I am registering for chemistry at Normandale tomorrow. I'm assuming the worst and getting ready to go the Rochester route.

I wasn't even this nervous when I was waiting for my daughter to be born. Good thing I'm working all weekend, that way all of the nurses will ask me if I got into the program or not. It stinks when your whole future hinges on a piece paper.......That was suppose to be out a week ago.......

HAHA Dedsxy, I actually said that a few days ago! "I wasn't even this nervous to give birth!!" hahaha!

I really have no idea what I am going to do until I read that paper, this is so annoying. Our date changes three times... first it was March 1, April 1 and now April 15. Seriously they should have just said "mid-April" to begin with.. this wait wouldn't have been half as bad...

JUST spoke to Suzy Merkling (4/11) She is currently working on letters. I dont know how long it takes to get them out, but I would think we would hear from Inver by Friday? Good luck

I just called her today too, she said "I will "try" and have them out by the end of the week."

Sweet Li - Thanks for the work info! I think that will be my next approach once I hear my status from Inver. I'm pretty sure I'll be looking for someone anyways that's part time, so it's good to know there are places out there that don't require CNA certification or will help you get through the course.

Inpatientlywaiting - I did hear back from UMN through email. It's a no go, but I was expecting this as well since I didn't have all of my prerequisites. Hope you heard something from them already? If not then it might be a good sign?

Hope tomorrow this is all over with!

That is what I am wondering as well. I know Inver takes 60 in the fall and 50 in the spring. So what I assume is that I REALLY am #17 on the wait list since I am actually #77. That is if they take the same amount of people. I still don't think that is very good odds, I think Impatientlywaiting said she was #3 on the alternative list last year at inver and did not get in. The thing we do have in our favor is I think a TON of people applied to both Century and Inver this year because they just split. So maybe people will get into both so the numbers could be higher then normal?

I was alternate #77 last year for Century, and I got in for the spring. I got a letter at the end of May that I was in. My class is 60 people so I am guessing that it will be the same. Plus, since IH and CC split, I am guessing a lot of people applied to both.
