Who to take? I would like to go downriver any suggestions?

I took Stacey Olson. I loved her but many do not. Micro is tough but I found her very clear on what she was going to test you on & also very approachable. She has NO problem staying after class to help you understand things. And my class was fortunate not to have another lab rushing in so we could stay late.

She is/or was a practicing microbiologist so used many real life examples to help us understand. I don't see her in the catalog but I see many "staff" entries. You might want to call the campus.

I know that different students are going to have different opinions about teachers, but my co-worker had S. Olsen and she said that she was terrible.

On the other hand, I had D. Meyers in an online class last summer and she was beyond amazing. One of the pluses with that class was we only had too attend class for lab and tests every couple of weeks. She's very down-to-earth, humerous, and approachable... but tough at the same time. If you're willing to put in the effort, I recommend her. I loved her so much that I'm taking Patho with her.

Also, I see that J. Grey is teaching Micro. I've heard many good things about him. He gives out study guides so he is also someone that I would recommend. Check out www.ratemyprofessors.com if you haven't already. I believe that all three of these instructors that I have mentioned are rated on the site. Hope this helps and good luck!
