Schoolcraft LPN-RN Fall 2017

U.S.A. Michigan

Hello AN!

I just passed the TEAS 6 at Schoolcraft this past Friday (after not scoring well enough in science on the TEAS 5 earlier this year). All of my pre-reqs have been accepted (from HFCC and Davenport, where I completely my LPN last year) and am now just waiting for contact from the school after submitting my resume and hours worked.

I'm starting this thread to keep in touch with other Fall 2017 hopefuls, as well as alumni of this program to give us insight.

Thanks in advance.

I start this Fall as well (I'm not an LPN though) I was bumped up from 2018. Hopefully I will run into you all soon :D

So I just passed my TEAS on Saturday and submitted my completed app today. I talked to the assistant Dean of nursing and she said I will most likely not be in for Fall 2017. :-( i'm real real sad about this. She said I will receive my acceptance letter in 2 weeks.

I have heard stories that people can hear something a week or 2 before the program starts.

I hope I do.

Shan409,LPN Did you receive your packet wth orientation and skills simulation sign up yet?

I didn't. I submitted the rotation form, received my 1st choice, and was able to register for class though. I am dropping off the background check and the other forms that were sent via email tomorrow.

If you dont mind me asking which rotation are you in. I am in F.

Hi I will be applying to Schoolcraft College in February of 2018. I'm currently in the LPN program at Detroit Business Institute Downriver. I wanted to know if anybody would mind sharing what their TEAS test scores are. I just want to see what the range is that they'll accept for the LPN to RN program I'm looking to start next year in the fall as well

Hi Everyone,

I applied May 16th and was placed in the Fall 2018 cohort. I'm hoping that I will be called to start sooner.

If you look on there website and look up LPN to rn application it will have the acceptable scores for each section. Anna2006

Which class were you originally placed? Is it normal to be bumped up at schoolcraft?

The wait list kills me.

I was placed in the Fall 2017 class, but had a fellow classmate from my LPN program at DU get placed in Fall 2018 and she was bumped up and is now in the same cohort with me.

Sidenote: The program is based on 7 week classes (ex: 1/2 semester in MedSurg, other half in Psych) with only 3 exams for each class. Intense!

Thank you so much from your reply. I truly hope I get in for Fall 2018. I just have to take Psych and Bio in the winter and that's it. I should be able to take Math in the spring while TEAS testing to get in but I'm unsure and prepared for Fall 2019 í ½í¸–
