Has anyone taken the Nursing Assistant training course at American Red Cross? If so, is it any good and do you get offered a job right away with your certification?

Or,

has anyone taken the nurse assistant course at HFCC?

Which one do you think would be better for me to get offered a job right away?

Hey there, If you compare the price (if that matters to you) Red Cross has a fee of $850-$900 for its course of 90 hours. HFCC goes by credit hour and I belive it cost a little more, here's the website (https://my.hfcc.edu/site_manager/catalog_manager/programs/view_program1.asp?id=3371&view=s) It give specific details on how they're class runs. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I have already registered for the HFCC one and it was a lot of money since I was out of district. And then i found out about the Red Cross one. I just wanted to know if anyone had heard anything about either program, or which one would be better to do?

o, ok so when do you start @ HFCC? Keep us posted how it goes.

I am registered for April 21st-June 30th at HFCC. I am actually planning on taking the American Red Cross one though which starts April 28th-May 15th. I'll let you know how it goes.

OK, may sure you keep us posted. I'd like to know how it goes with the Red Cross.

Thanks
