and 45 more weeks of nursing school left.........:monkeydance:do the dance, do the dance!!! The summer 10 week course was intense but very interesting. Those drugs are amazing. Even though I am elated to move on, I was also a bit sad today. I am finally leaving my "nursing school mom". I was with this same teacher thru foundations, M/S I and Pharm.....:sniff:.

Best wishes to all those attending orientation on Monday.:)

Good for you!! I am so excited about orientation. Time has flown by since we got those letters. I am wondering though, My physical isn't going to be ready until Tuesday. I wonder if that will be a problem.

Congrats DaMomma!! I know it feels wonderful to have completed such an intense course. I know how you feel about leaving one of your favorite instructors. I miss Mr. Kitakis!! I believe it was you who gave me the first recommendation to take him. He is really the most awesome teacher that I have had thus far. But, thanks for the well wishes for orientation. I can't wait to see who I'm gonna get and where my first semester of nursing classes will be held. By the way, what teacher are you referring to?? I can only hope and pray that I get someone who I can stick with through several classes.:uhoh3:

Time sure has flown by!! I'm not sure about your physical, but hopefully it will be okay. I'm finished with everything except for my HEP B series. I got the first one, but of course I have to wait to get the other two. Any thoughts on this?? Is this going to be a problem for me?? Does anyone know if we should be making copies of all of our documents...CPR, Physical, and Immunization record?? Or do we just bring the master copies and the nursing dept does the copies?

as long as you have proof that you started the hep b series you should be fine. i have not completed the series myself need one more. as for making copies please do so b/c you will need to give a copy of your physical to each clinical instructor that you have(thats what i was told). make sure you bring all your required master documents to orientation.

Aweee, Dr. K rocks!!! He really broke the human body down for me. I learned so much in his class. Keep your notes, they will come in handy as a reference tool for nursing classes. I just reviewed my notes from the urinary system (remember Renin Angiotension system? All that stuff that go with it? It all comes back for Pharm. Oh, also fluids/electrolytes and acid base balance comes back with a vengence for M/S I. It is all amazing.
