Tall scrubs? What about fanny packs?

Tafford's no longer makes 36" inseam scrub pants.

Any other tall guys out there? What do you wear? Lots of places sell 34" inseam, but I need 36".

Also, what do you do about carrying stuff? Unisex scrub tops have high front pockets and my stuff falls out everytime I bend over to do something. I RARELY see anyone, including male nurses, wearing fanny packs. What do you do with you keys/cellphone/etc.?

Sorry to CPR this thread back to life after it has been buried for so long. I am starting my training as a CNA in a couple of weeks. The LTC facility that hire me and several others is going to put us through the class and certification.

Working in maintenence at a feed mill before switching careers I wore an MP3 armband that was big enough for the large 80 gig Ipod Video. I carried my most frequently used tools, tape and electrical connectors in it wrapped around my bicep. I am going to try to do the same as a CNA.

I do wear a fann...er...waist pack at times when I ride my motorcycle as my leathers do not have any pockets. Also it is easier to fish stuff out of it without taking off my gloves than it to dig my wallet or stuff out of my pockets.

If a guy wears a fanny pack, it is simply called a "man bag".:D

Three pair of scrub pants.....KIA in just three months. I am 6' 5" and look as if I believe Noah was telling the truth in regards to a flood. The problem is the length, but also the crotch! I swing my leg over my bike to ride home and then spend the next ten minutes trying to not be indecent while pedaling my heart out...not to mention the gusts!

There is a clothing company that I have thought of petitioning. Prana makes rock climbing clothes, of which I do a little, and they have a special piece of fabric sown in the crotch to allow more movement. Just some thoughts as I wore these as my scrub pants this past summer. Take it for what it's worth.

I use Cherokee scrub pants and tops. The have the side pockets on the legs. I am 6'2 and the pants work great for me. My normal waist for pants is a 34 or 36. I use the Tall in Large pants and they fit like a glove. Very comfortable, and easy to move around in. Length is not a problem at all.

As for the fanny pack. Its a nice idea at times but its not always used. I carry a pack that is about half the size of the original fanny pack. It is full of items that I use on a daily basis, but I only use the items in the bag when I end up in a room or something that may be missing some items. Its more of a backup because its not convenient to always have to be reaching back for the bag.

I wear Landau Tall scrubs. Problem is they only come in about three colors. I talked to the local scrub shop and Landau will take special orders, mix and match any of their colors for a 6 piece minimum:w00t: So I have a nice order coming!
