To shave or not to shave that is the question.

After years of clean shaven, I decided to regrow my goatee.

Is this frowned upon? I'm meeting withing the DON for my entrance interview and want to put forth the best foot so to speak.

Shave the grey goatee? Or go the wild man?

In my case I had a neatly trimmed beard & 'stache - until yesterday. Just started VN training, and the school said 'nyet!'. Didn't see it as being worth the fight, so I didn't; although I'll tactfully ask if this was a recent policy change since it wasn't mentioned to me until 2 days ago. YMMV.

p.s. While I wouldn't say I was covering up a serious case of the uglies, sans chin spinach I bear a striking resemblance to Dilbert's "pointy haired boss". Blecch.
