   Many of the nurses in the LTACH I work in either have a second job in an ICU or leave to go work in an ICU.

   I'd go with the nicer facility personally. Nothing better then going to a job you hate everyday. They are both SNFs so they will likely be viewed be same by hospitals :)

   Sounds like a typical LTC setting to me... It's tough work, but I wouldn't say unsafe...

   & btw I know how you feel, my daughter just turned 1 so it wasn't too long ago that I had to leave her and go back to work... But it will get easier over time and definitely will be easier if your going to a job you enjoy!

   I have no advice but I feel for you, I was let go from my employer during my 90 days and felt defeated. Luckily I have found a new job, but not my dream job :/
