   Again, HCA does not force you to get vaccinated; simply dictates that you must wear a mask while working if you deline...this was for seasonal flu...I believe NYS Supreme Court has held that H1N1 cannot be forced on staff.

   I agree it is somewhat concerning; the problem is the use of a VAD for theraputic phlebotomy is "off label use of the device" and not approved by the manufacturers or INS...the nurse becomes totally liable for any problems. I am trying to find out if...

   Does anyone know if their BON allows an RN to perform a Theraputic Phlebotomy (for Hemochromatosis) throught a VAD? NH has ruled it is NOT within Scope of Practice; we are trying to gather info to have them reconsider.
