   Is this supposed to be some kind of retention tactic? Sounds to me like an incentive to find another place to work...I'd be talking to your manager's boss. It might be worth while to bring along a copy of your job description. Good luck!

   At my hospital, our standard reply was "Who does this for you at home?" Well, one lady replied "My daughter does!" Glad she's not my mommie dearest!!

   Is there a major teaching Hospital in the area that has sort of like an intern training program into critical care ? Dartmouth-Hitchcock would be the major teaching hospital. However, most area hospitals offer a Critical Care course. Good luck!
