    I just applied for a Nurse Case Manager position with WellPoint. I have the experience and qualifications. It would be an ideal situation if I could work full-time from home! *Fingers crossed*

    I honestly had no idea what I WANTED to do after graduation, but I knew what I DIDN'T want to do - Peds, pysch, or OB. My first job was on a med/surg tele unit. I did that for a few years before transferring to PCU, because I thought I wanted to go...

    Oh man, I remember those days. I don't know how I survived my years as a floor nurse. Thus why I work in Case Management now.

    I'm a semi-introvert, so I can understand how you feel. What about home health nursing, hospice, OR, or SDS?

    Yes, I agree with GrnTea. I would simply tell the doc, "The payor has downgraded the status to OBS. If you disagree with the decision, you can do a peer to peer." If he snaps back at you, tell him you are only trying to advocate for the patient.
