   Holmes regional hires new grads. They have a gn program, I'm not sure how often but we have 2 on my unit. Parrish has a GN program as well. Now, cape canaveral, Holmes, palm bay, and Viera hospital are all owned by the same company. Health-first....

   What schools serve (in my area anyway) aren't the healthiest. Believe me, what I pack my kids is way healthier that the crap they serve.

   Thank u, hushy. That's all very good, I could say that in interviews when asked what I plan on doing in the future. They seem to always ask that.

   I think she Is trying to get L&D experience. Good question. My guess is if they don't use CNMs you may just leave that out.

   I think it all depends on your support system. For day time calls you could have a daycare that allows drop ins. At night, won't your husband be home? Or some friends or family? It can be done:). Good luck!

    So jealous!! That is why I went to nursing school in the first place, and after almost 2 years since graduating I still can't get in there:(. You can do it, get in there ask tons of questions and do your best:).

    I've always bought my own scrubs as well. Never been compensated either. I don't understand why having RN on your top would be offensive. It's your title, what you are. It's what you worked so hard for in school. Wear it proudly:)
