    Not a pipe dream at all.....we've had students that came into my nursing program my second year from a nursing school only 25 miles from mine. I say go for it! I don't think it will be frowned upon at all.

    Med Surg Made Incredibly Easy is a great book in my opinion. I find it most helpful for reading the different chapters for relevant units in my class. Really puts things in an easy way too understand more so than my Iggy text.

    Go over the basics of the nursing process to help you read the question and know exactly what it is they're looking for (assessment, intervention, eval, etc.) Also, dosage calc. for sure!

    Pt. has the right to know their health status. If they choose not to know, then that's also their right; however, it sounds like in this situation, the pt. should have been told.
