Hey everyone, the application for was due yesterday, whew! I almost forgot about it.

Did anyone else apply? When can we expect to hear back?

Hi Everyone, I have been accepted to primary adult/gerontology :) Next step will be to figure out if I can afford it, but hopefully everything will work out since this school was my top choice.

I decided to just go ahead and take the offer for the adult-gero track. Although FNP was my first choice (I was wait-listed for Family but offered a spot for adult-gero), I really don't want to remain on the wait list for Family (I read that sometimes they don't pull you off of it until a week before classes begin!). I'm not crazy about kids anyway and MGHIHP has an outstanding program :). Hb3an, let me know what you decide too! I don't know for sure if I'll attend yet but MGH is tied as my #1 choice (with another school I haven't heard from yet) so it's a strong possibility. Cevans- I'm in the same boat as you... figuring out my finances will be the next step! Best of luck to all of you! :)

hey bostonstudent1220, do you know if we're able to check what waitllist position we are online? i know others are getting their admission decisions already. to everyone that was accepted, did you guys find out by logging back into my application? and congrats to everyone that got in! :)

h3ban- I don't think there's any way to check (or if there is I haven't seen it). When I log into my application it just says it's been submitted but nothing else. I'm guessing for us a decision won't show up until Feb 21st or until we respond to the e-mail. I did find an information page about being wait listed at MGH in general (Information for Waitlisted Students - MGH Institute of Health Professions - Boston, MA) and it says that the list isn't ranked (seems weird, I know).

bostonstudent1220 - Thanks for the info! It's amazing how the waitlist is not ranked. MGH is also my top choice; however, I think I will call them tomorrow to see how many people are on the waitlist before making a decision. To those who are accepted, does it say when the deadline is to make a decision? Thanks!

When I log into my application, at the bottom of the site (under recommendation providers), it shows: "Decision Status Available: Your application decision is now available." When you click on the link, it takes you to the official acceptance letter.

EDIT: "If you decide to accept this admission offer, please complete and submit our enrollment form using the link at the end of this letter along with a non-refundable $500 enrollment deposit before 3/1/2013." (from the acceptance letter) [TABLE=width: 400]
