Hi,
Does anyone know what is going on with them extending the deadline for applicants for the full time program till May 15th??? Were there not enough applicants?? I don't want to have to wait until June to hear back, when I already got my application in before.
For those who took the Accuplacer. Do you find the "sample questions" given on collegeboard's website pretty close to what appear on the real test (especially for reading)? Or are those samples questions easier? The sample test has only short passages, are there any long passages (multiple paragraphs) in the real test?
Thanks
Hi guys! I'm applying to the fall program as soon as my transcripts are ready from other schools. I took the Accuplacer on the 27th for the first time. For studying I used the CollegeBoard Accuplacer app for iphone. It was $2 but I think it was worth it. They have way more questions than the sample pdf file on the CollegeBoard website and the questions were harder than the actual test. It also automatically grades you and tells what why the answers are right.
The adviser I spoke to (just last week, I'm applying pretty last minute) said the program is pretty competitive, but that's all he said, nothing about a shortage of applicants. What was the original deadline for applications, if anyone knows?
Hope I get in... My other choices are Brockton and Curry but they're both mad expensive!
Just got my letter about Orientation. Its June 13th. Lots of stuff needs to be done before orientation and lots of stuff to buy! But I'm super excited.
I am handing in my application next week....I am super nervous at this point! The fact that Orientation is June13th make me hopeful that they will make a quick decision regarding all the applications they are getting. I am still debating taking the accuplacer again, to see if I can get my scores higher.
Hopefully I will get accepted and I will be able to join you at the orientation!! XXfingerscrossedXX

Cally, I just read your other posts, I see your concern. Taking the accuplacer as soon as possible is the best I can advise you. Schedule it and Do some review on testprep.com or collegetest prep.com and click on accuplacer. if your scores fall short you can reschedule the reading section or any other section for retake right away for 30 days after (rule) if if they get all the applicants needed, it doesn't mean everyone one of themis going to attend QC. Your classes you are taking now, willyou be done with them by the application deadline? to have the transcripts to give QC?
