Clinical times/days for any MASS College

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hi everyone! I am finishing up my pre-reqs within the next semester or so. I want to apply to a BSN nursing program. I am not sure what college to apply to yet but I live in the northshore area of massachusetts. I also work full time and unfortunately I need to. Could anyone let me know which nursing school they go to and how their typical schedule is like? What time are your clinicals and classes and labs? Thank you so much, any help is greatly appreciated!

Last semester since I'm in the evening program, I had class twice a week. Mondays 4-9pm and Saturdays 7a-7p. A couple of weeeks later we started clinicals and that occured on the Saturdays. I work full time nights so this schedule worked better for me, rather than the daytime one since they met 3x a week with start times at 7a and 8a, I wouldn't have been able to focus since I work 11p-7a and my schedule would've been tight.

Thank you for your response! Which college do you go to?

Specializes in OMFS, Dentistry.

I begin an evening program in a little over a month. We have clinical on Mondays 4pm-10:30pm, lab on Tue or Wed 4pm-8pm (you don't have to go both days. either/or) and lecture on Thursdays 4pm-7pm. Oh, sorry I just realized that you want a BSN program. I begin ASN. Good Luck!

My two cents: when choosing your path, please consider not only the clinical schedules, but also the class schedules and the time demand that the BSN program places you under. I'm in an accelerated 16-month BSN program (for those with a previous non-nursing BS degree), and I can honestly say nobody in my cohort even considers working full-time during school.
