    ...very well then, any updates? I'm currently applying for jhh so i guess any word from you guys would be a great help for me to come up a greater decision...

    The VP of Nursing & Patient Care Services at JHH, Karen Haller is a doctor - of nursing.

    I work there, and love it - warts and all. I think the money is competitive, and the benefits first rate.

    Besides, it's not all about the money.

    I've never talked to her but the lady answering the phone at her office (Diane I think?) is awesome! I'm an ISU distance student and have been trying to chase down a contact to arrange clinicals and she pointed me straight to the woman I needed and was like "If you need more help call me back!"! Of course, now getting ahold of the lady she referred me to is becoming a challenge but that's ok, I like challenges and I have til January to get these arrangements made. lol! Any suggestions are welcome though!

    So how difficult is it for a new grad to get an ICU job there? Their new grad program seems fabulous!

    Hi I don't think it will be too hard. I just got a job down there on one of there hem/onc units and there were all so great so just be persistant and they will call you back
