Prospective students, tell me what you think? I need opinions :)

Okay, last semester I was rejected from two schools, so I am obviously taking steps to better my chances. I am volunteering at UMMC, have retaken A&PII (my only C) and earned an A (yayyyy me!!), took Medical Terminology just for the heck of it, and am enrolled in a Bio Coop course this coming fall. In addition, I am definitely tweaking my statement of goals to add the above changes.

My TEAS is where I am on the fence about. I have scored a "higher" proficient, and am debating on taking it over. I am not 100% sure I can make it to advanced, so I am not sure what to do!

What do you think? Spend the money and just take a chance? I am not even sure if the schools look at the percentage. If they do, then I am definitely at the higher part of proficient. But if not, proficient is proficient no matter how you look at it :)

Oh, I also worked at Towson University over the summer in a research program through the National Institutes of Health, so that would go on my resume as well.

Any and all opinions are more than welcome!

DO NOT LET ANYTHING DISCOURAGE YOU!! If you don't try, how will you know?!?! Unless you speak DIRECTLY to someone in admissions, I would not consider yourself screw*d. And honestly, I am not sure if there ARE any schools that are lenient ;)

I have to give kudos to Towson. The admissions coordinator actually CALLED me to explain an issue with my application! I could have easily just been "rejected" and wouldn't have had a clue as to why.

My new favorite quote is, "if you don't ask, the answer is always NO!" Meaning, if you don't try, you most definitely are NOT getting in, right?

You are absolutely right! That was very nice of them to call though.
