Bay area BSN programs are really competitive, your GPA might be a little low. Call every school nursing department and admissions and talk about your chances. Check out private schools
(more expensive, but if you get you degree a year faster might be worth it) like Samuel Merritt (great school, but expensive), but avoid for-profit schools like U of Phoenix, Kaplan, etc.
The ADN or ASN might be a good option for you, you just need to meet the requirements and get lucky. Apply to all the community colleges that you can.
Basically apply everywhere you qualify for RN programs (ADN, BSN, even diploma). I have a BA, and I ended up going out of state to a private school.
