Contemplating a move to southern Maine--Bridgton area. Anyone with information on the area and Bridgton Hospital. What would a RN with 10+ years experience expect to make? I have med-surg, peds, and ER experience. :) Thanks!

I'm in Portland, at Maine Medical Center but have a friend that works nights at Bridgton Hospital - there are only 30-35 beds in the whole hospital, 4 of them critical care. I think new grads start around $16-$17/hour, so an experienced RN may start around $20-$23? Just a guess, but cost of living is pretty low in that area. Where are you relocating from?

Try http://www.cmhc.org to make a connection with Bridgton Hospital. It is associated with Central Maine Medical Center, the regional trauma center. It is a beautiful area and there are advantages in working in a rural area for sure.
