Am not sure I'm posting this in the correct place...but...is an RN Supervisor the same as a Charge Nurse in a LTC? And, what would a 3-11 Supervisor be responsible for other than obviously ensuring patients are cared for properly.
Also, the state surveys for LTC's are on the gov't web site...how accurate on they one reflecting the care at a facility? Are the lower scores really indicative of poor care or at the state surveyors overly focused?

  3. Some places have charge nurses who are responsible for their specific unit. The 3-11 supervisor is usually responsible for the entire facility. Having been in this field for years and years, I don't put much faith in what's online post survey.
