Hey all I have been an LPN for the last 2 years and feel it is time to get my RN. I have enrolled to start in a program in February 14'. I'm very excited, but very nervous as well. I am a single parent with 2 young children. I will be working overnight to support my family, in which I will have my sister 'spend the night' with them and take them to school in the AM. School is only 3 days a week. I know it is going to be a hard 12 months, but I feel it is the right time and I am motivated to earn my RN. With all this being said.....I do not have support from my family, I guess they do not understand why I have to get my RN and I will just be so busy. But I think that it will be well worth it to get it done and over with. Is anyone else going thru the same thing or have previously went thru this before? Just looking for a little encouragement!! Thanks.

Do what you need to do to achieve your goal. The support you need will be there; God has a way of making things work out.

I just finished an LPN-RN program and im telling you just stick to your studies. Study study study.....it a totally different ballgame as much as you think it may not be because you are already an LPN but the cirriculum is so different. alot of critical think and apllication type questions. I wish you the best of luck and CONGRADS for moving forward in your career!! Im sooooo happy for you
