LVN to RN best school in socal

Hi I am new to the forums and also new to the nursing career.

I'm planning to start off as an LVN and moving up to an RN.

I reside within the socal community basically Los Angeles etc..

A school someone on this site recommended as one of the best for LVN was Chaffey College.

I'm looking for a well known with good history college to receive credit for both LVN and RN.

Please help me!

The best school for LVN to RN is the one that accepts you. Schools are so competitive that many people find it hard to get into one at all and end up leaving the state for nursing school or going to a private school that costs a ton of money.

Do u currently have an lvn license? Schools that have a bridge course are few in Los Angeles.

I am an lvn and was accepted into La Harbor College. I will be starting at 2nd semester but some pass the profiency test and skip ahead to 3rd(this is rare but it happens!) I believe Compton, El Camino, Cerritos, Rio Hondo, La Allied Health, Long Beach, and LA Harbor of course. There maybe others but check these schools out. One poster said it correctly, get in wherever you can! The competition is thick and fierce. The list grows every application period. You're lucky if anyone calls you:eek:
