LPN to BSN online a good idea for me?Register Today!
- by dansmastarbucks Jul 25, '10I'll be an LPN graduate in two weeks and am already planning to continue my education. I've been comparing LPN to BSN programs in state and for distance learning. In my past, I've taken online classes and given up on them out of forgetfulness/carelessness, and I'm wondering if taking distance learning classes for online nursing is a good idea. My husband is not being very supportive of this decision, but I think I might be able to do this. I will need to take a couple more prerequisites before I take the nursing courses, and maybe that will give me an idea of how I can handle online classes. What do you think?

I began my BSN education a few months after taking the NCLEX-PN and it the was the best decision for me! I took some courses online initially, and it worked out fine. However, take into consideration that you have to develop new habits in order to avoid past mistakes. Otherwise, you can do it!

Try to make it a part of your everyday life just as you would going to a traditional class...maybe it your start to look at it as "class time" you will have better success. Good luck to you
