My instructor for my IV class strongly recommended not going this route. His wife used to be part of the hiring panel at Kaiser and she said they do look at the school you attend, especially now in a tight market. In areas with more jobs, it may not matter as much.

I should add that he said they particularly liked Chabot College grads. Apparently they have a reputation for turning out very good bedside nurses.

They have a high pass rate too. Must be good nurses ;)
