can someone help me find a goal for a patient that is at risk for falls. I need to write a care plan.

It is my understanding goal statements are to be simple and specific, an example for you would be that your goal is : patient safety.

Patient Will Remain free from falls for (Specify Time Frame):
The goal has to be realistic (ie, a pt in a full body cast w/goal of pt will walk 25 ft within 2 wks)
You could have Risk for falls r/t.....
Goal: Pt will remain free from falls and injury q shift for 1 wk. And then list your interventions to get to that goal (ambulate with assist, check BP for orthostatic hypotention, needed items within reach of pt, identify risk for fall factors like medications, confusion, impaired mobilit etc)
