Will a letter of recommendation help you get in the lvn program.?

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

Generally, a letter of recommendation will not be of much help if you do not have the prerequisite grades and/or test scores that the program directors seek.

Yes I met the test score requirements and also a Cna for over 6 years but no prerequisites required.Test scores were the main factor

Does the application process require letters of recommendation? Unless they asked you for letters of recommendation, they will not help you. The school will not consider material you submit that they haven't requested of all the applicants; it would be unfair to the other applicants. If one or more letters of recommendations are part of the application process, a strong letter might give someone a small advantage over other candidates with equal/similar qualifications, but it wouldn't make up, by itself, for being a weaker candidate.
