What to expect

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

I just received my TEAS results, and as long as things are basically the same as last year, I'm very competitive to be admitted into the PN program.

I want to know what to expect as far as clinicals and labs are concerned. More specifically, I've noticed they have classes scheduled as such: Mon and Wed/labs Tues and Thur/clincals. My question is, are these simultaneously, or are they blocked off where you do classes half of the semester and clinicals the last half?

Also, how stringent is the program as far as allotted study time? Anatomy and Physiology required that I study around 20 hours or more per week in order to Ace the tests. So I'm assuming that it would be in this range for the program?

Any input would be appreciated, thank you. =)

My guess, without knowing your program is that lab and clinicals are simultaneous. Both programs I have attended this was the case because lab taught you the skills that you would use in clinical.

I'm not a good person to ask about studying because I study far less than the average student, but definitely review your notes daily and that will help a lot!

Thanks! That's about what I had expected, but I wasn't sure. =)

Its a hard program good luck
