What is your favorite NCLEX Review book

Hey all I am in the process of shopping around for NCLEX review books. I refuse to wait to the quarter before I take boards to start reviewing. I have three quarters left and I want to start now even though I haven't learned much yet. There are so many out there and I am limited on funds so I want some opinions before I start purchasing books. I have heard that Saunders comprehensive review is really good but I am open to other suggestions.

Good question, and good idea. I have been doing the same thing. In addition to that, my nursing program tests us using NCLEX questions for every class! We use MedsRn - an online provider - to train us in testing well for the NCLEX, and we must complete hundreds and hundreds of NCLEX practice questions over the course of each semester.

But, to answer your question specifically: I like Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination, 4th ed. But I also have Mosby's, Lippincott, Kaplan, Cliffs Notes, and Thompson. I do like Saunders the most. It's organized by category, rather than just random topics page after page. It's a great way to study for our exams.

I really found the NCLEX cram helpful and I just went over lots of old notes.

I am using Saunders and exam cram as well. There are so many to choose from out there. I heard Suzanne's program is one of the best to get accepted into.
