Preparing for the LVN/LPN Program entrance

I am VERY interested in starting the LVN program soon. I am currently taking the CNA program after completion I will attend the Medical assisting course as well as the basic Phlebotomy course for Med Professionals. Please tell me if this sounds like a good career path to becoming an LVN. In my state(BAY AREA-CALIFORNIA) Any nursing program is competitive to get into and I feel that not only will I be learning the basics but it will also look great on my school application that I have taken further steps to prepare for the program.

i agree, it is extremely competitive to get into any nursing program here in the bay area, so i have chosen the private school route. i am attending ncp college of nursing in south san francisco (they also have a hayward campus) for their lvn program. they have a very high nclex pass rate, so they really do prep you for it in only one year! it's not cheap, but i believe that education is well worth the investment. good luck to you!
