LVN Schools in Dallas, TX

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Hello. I'm planning on starting nursing school for my LVN this year. I'm considering to go to either Dallas Nursing Institute or Concorde. I was wondering if anyone knows about these two schools. Thanks.

Im due to start Concorde January 23rd full time LVN. I finished from Concorde in 2010 as a medical assistant and decided to go back to pursue my nursing. I do plan on getting my RN. I have a few friends that finished from Concorde as a LVN these past few years and all of them are working and doing well. They all stated that the program is hard work and a lot of reading but it will be worth it at the end. One of my friends started at DNI and ended up transferring to Concorde because she said DNI was unprofessional and everywhere. She did the part time LVN program at Concorde.

Specializes in Cardiac (adult), CC, Peds, MH/Substance.

I haven't heard great things about DNI. I've heard mixed reviews on Concorde. I've heard good things about Weatherford, if you can get in.. Another one to consider.

If it has to be between those two I would say Concorde. Although I've heard mixed reviews for Concorde as well but those same people would rate it higher than DNI.

Good luck!!

I'm at Concorde now. Well I just had orientation Thursday and my first day of class is Monday. I will keep you updated. If you read my previous comment, I'm posted a few of my friends experience.
