This may be the wrong place to ask this BUT,

I have a moderate case of scoliosis (25% to and 20% lower) and back hurts quit a bit. Do you think I can handle nursing?

It always hurts my upper right side next to my shoulder blade. It's muscle spasm mostly. I've learned over the years how to stand, bend, lift, etc. for the least amount of pain.

Just wondering what people thought:p

You can still be a nurse, but I strongly suggest you look into getting the problem corrected prior to entering this very demanding career field. Bedside nursing can be very physical and repetitive.

I wish you the best of luck!

People without musculoskeletal conditions hurt at the end of a day.

If you're willing to, go for it!
