Immune system down

My immune system sucks since I've started nursing school. I'm on my third sinus infection since starting school back in January. I think my immune system hates the studying all night and school 5x's a week all day. Anyone else going through anything like this?

I'm a MA about to begin school for LPN, and when I started as an MA, I had the same problem. My primary care doctor told me to take an iron supplement and vitamin C. So far, so good. I used to get sick every couple of months, and I haven't had anything in the past six. I hope that helped a bit :)

I was really lucky though my first semester...we just started our 2 week break in between semester & I have a cold ugg..I slacked on my daily vitamins with finals going on...or should I say slacked on everything that didn't involve school lol.

jollyt - your post made me smile!

I generally enjoy excellent health, but since starting school in january, let's see...

a sinus infection

bad allergies this spring

a cold or two

2 debilitating bouts of gastroenteritis (originally thought by dr to be food poisoning)

pain in my knee

and a little bubble in the white of my R eye

physical strain, eye strain, brain strain, whatever...the 5 day/wk class/clinical schedule, lack of sleep, never-ending study sessions - is it any wonder?

:lol2:
