I took my NET exam ugh!

I took my NET exam on the 29th. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. The good news is I passed the Math portion. I was not shocked but dumbfounded by the thought of me passing the Math and failing the Reading portion. It was a shocker since I feel more confident in reading comp then math. I absolutely hate math and I passed the math portion with a high score. I'm kind of down that I can't take the test again until after June. Anyone else have problems with the reading portion of the reading comp the 1st time? So what should I do now?

I Take The Test 4/12 And Unlike You I Can Only Take It Once. Im Terrible In Math, But Think Im Kind Of Ok In Reading Comp... Any Pointers??? Can You Give Any Example Questions Of What Was On The Math??? And What Was Difficult Regarding The Reading?????

at my school, my Intro to Health teacher said so many people were failing the Reading Comp. section, that they re-vamped the pre reqs for Nursing and made English 191 mandatory starting Spring 2009 program..I havent taken the NET test, i have been practicing and bombing the english:(

I took the NET several weeks ago and the math section was very similar to the practice test (with answers) at the site below:

The reading practice is similar as well, but I found the actual test to be a little less straight-forward than the practice (i.e., on the actual test, I more often got stuck choosing between 2 answers and on the practice test I didn't have that issue very much at all).

aww, well better luck next time! that's good that you got the math part down, though! that's always the hardest, to me.

:banghead:Hi, I took the NET in CT yesterday, I did excellent on the math, 90%, but like others said, I did like 61% on the reading comp and 77% on the written expression, which is my strenght... i just could not get the main idea all the time... I just could not give them what they wanted. Believe or not, in CT I passed??!! I probably need to take it again because of the low score for reading comp, but have to wait 30 days. I did MUCH better on the practice test even under the time limits...

Congrats on everything! I am so happy to hear that you passed in CT!!!!!!! So the reading is the one that gets you huh?????? Damn I am super nervous!!!!!! Well hopefully I do well!!!!!

I registered for the NET PN test on the last day and did not have time to buy the materials to study. Just went to take the test blindly. Gave it a shot after abt 30 yrs since High School.

Got 98% for Math, English pulled me down. I was within the 95% of those who sat for the test nationwide. Btw, I am ony in the U.S. for 2 years.

To me, it was like hitting the Jackpot. I am going for my interview soon.

I have scheduled my NET test for May 2nd, I am so nervous! all I do on my down time is go over the NET study guide, I still have some issues with the reading, chosing main idea and for math some percent problems, I'm gonna keep practicing!!:(

anyone have any other sites that I can use to study for main idea, and the math similar to the ones in the NET book? testpreview I have already used...??
