Please any suggestion is more than welcome

Thank you in advance

you want to also look at comorbidities. What underlying health problems, such as diabetes, does a person have, not everyone who has bariatric surgery has medical conditions, some have musculoskeletal issues that brings them to having the surgery (not that MS is not a medical issue). This is a very important topic. The things you will learn from this is not all physical but a great deal of psychosocial. These patients have to have psych evaluations pre-operatively as well.

Bariatric surgery is a big procedure and can be high risk depending on the patient. Best practices and outcomes come from centers of excellence by surgeons and staff experienced and skilled in the care of bariatric patients. Hope this helped with your question.

Specializes in Postpartum, Mother/Baby, Comm. Health, Geriatric.

Think pro vs cons while researching. Put yourself in a few different situations as to why you would require the procedure.
