can some one please help me with this? instructor expects us to know how to answer questions like this but has yet to show us how to actually do the problem! :(..........

30 mg is prescribed subQ once daily and is supplied in a prefilled syringe containing 20mg/ml. how many ml should a prefilled 30mg syringe contain?

I got 1.5 mL there's 20mg in 1mL and the Dr ordered 30mg. There would be 1.5 mL in the syringe.

That's not a conversion. That's just math.

Think of this and other similar problems by utilizing the formula want/have x volume.

Want 30mg. Have 20 mg in one ml.

30 divided by 20, times 1 = 1.5.
