Ats chicago - - info needed!

IF THERE IS ANYONE WHO IS ATTENDING OR PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED ATS CHICAGO, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED IF YOU COULD ANSWER SOME OF MY QUESTIONS AND SHARE ANY OTHER INFO THAT YOU FEEL WOULD BE ESSENTIAL!!!

1. Day vs. evening classes - - is the length of the program longer depending on which class schedule you choose?

2. Do classes usually end at the scheduled time? (I work overnights at my job and I was considering taking the evening class, so I was curious if I would be getting out at 10:00pm or a little earlier? Once I figure this out I will know if I need to consider changing my work schedule.)

3. How is the program in general, as far as teachers, tests, assignments, etc.?

4. Do you feel ATS prepared you for the NCLEX-PN exam? What is their pass rate like?

5. Does ATS hold a graduation ceremony? If so, where at?

6. Any other info you think I should know as I am heavily considering this program. Thanks in advance!!

1. The program length is the same no matter if you are a morning or evening student. You will be in a 12 month program if you pass the entrance exam. If not, you will take some remediation courses which will make the program 16 months. Most students attend for the 16 month program. The remediation courses will only help you to be better prepared for the other courses you must take so its not necessarily a bad thing.

2. You may go till 10 but they have been trying their best to schedule classes to end at 9 instead. You may be able to talk to the registrar and let him know your concerns ahead of time.

3. Most teachers are great and truly want you to be a good nurse. The program is hard just like any other school. You must put the time in in order to get good grades.

4. I haven't taken the nclex yet so I'm not really qualified to answer this yet but I feel like if you study hard and out the time in, you will succeed.

5. There is a graduation ceremony. It may change each class depending on where. Usually somewhere in chicago.

6. Feel free to email me eith any questions and good luck!

terrible school I would not waste my time or my money the only thing the owners are worried about is your money

I am also thinking about attending 9/2/2014 and I keep getting mixed or no reviews at ALL. Some people say its good and others that it is bad. I will be taking my Accuplacer test 7/18/2014 and hopefully after going there and getting a feel of the school I can make a more informed decision about this school.

Futurenursemini,

Did you ever enroll in this school? If so how was your experience? I am thinking about enrolling for this upcoming September.

Thank You

What is the tuition cost for ats chicago?

I am not sure, I heard its 20,000+, but I meet with financial aid on Monday 7/21/14 so I should have more info then.

@Mscoleman78 No, I decided not to attend this school. I had some personal things come up around the time that I was originally looking into ATS. I will be starting my RN program in the fall though! How about you? Did you attend ATS? If so, how was your experience?
