Hi

Is anyone out there familiar with ATI (Assessment Technologies Institute) testing? Is anyone in a program (other than myself) that has a pass/fail final exam by ATI for LPN graduation? or HESI, etc?

I would really like to hear from anyone who has successfully taken and passed the ATI exam along with any pointers?

Thanks

I had to take the ATI for LPN graduation in Dec 2005. What questions do you have?? I will try to answer them.

Thank you Camm

I just took my ATI final this morning and I PASSED I am elated

Unfortunately some of my classmates didn't pass so I am not feeling too good about that:(

When I first posted, I was feeling very apprehensive about the test, but I practiced with the ATI test questions and NCLEX questions over the weekend and it worked. Thanks for responding!!

Could you share what pointers for the test was given? I will have to take the test also in a month. Was it hard for you?

Just relax as much as possible. I think the key to preparing for the test is to continuously take the ATI practice exams, studying rationales for all right and wrong answers. Although it is comprehensive, concentrate on MED-SURG most of all. Do as many NCLEX-PN questions as possible. Again concentrating on rationales. Notice your weak points and strengthen them.

I'm sure you'll do fine. At this point, I feel preparing for the test is crucial. NOT going back and re-reading what you should already know after your year(s) of school. I think that is why some of my classmates didn't pass.

If anyone has the questions to the Med-Surg ATI (newest version) please let me know! :) Thanks!

Good points. I also feel like the practice questions in the book are cake and not helpful, while the online practice exams are easier than the actual test in class :(.

The online practive tests have all the same info in the full proctored test. Just asked in a different way as to not give you the answers outright. They are there to let you learn the information no matter how the question is phrased.

We used ATI thoughout the program to help us prepare for state boards, I found it helpful in some areas, especially if you take the practice tests online, it will point out your weak areas
