Rets Tech entrance exam

Hi there!!! I graduated from rets in december with my LPN. My mind is set on going back for my RN, but I dont know where to go. I heard that in order to get back into rets, you have to pass their entrance exam with an 800 or higher. They have a lpn to rn program. Does anyone know any info ?
Thanks

I entered the LPN-RN program in April 2006. The minimum score for the HESI entrance exam at RETs at that time was 900, but I think they did lower the standard to 800. I thought the exam was pretty easy, but there is a HESI study book with CD available, if you didn't already buy it. Basically, the test judges what you should know as an LPN. You'll take an exit test once you are nearly done with your RN program. We had three chances to pass, all with remediation if you didn't pass the first time, and if you failed a third time you had to repeat the semester. If I were you I'd call RETS and ask Char (or whomever is in her place). As you know, RETS is expensive, but it may be easiest for you to go there, since you are a former student. Also, if you want more responses, I would post this in the Ohio forum.

I just graduated from Rets and you only needed a 850 to get in the RN program. I just took the HESI and got a 1056. Contact Char in Dayton or Cincy you could contact Dawn Henderson.

Good Luck...you CAN do it!
