Need Advice Please

Hello there and congratulations on becoming an Nurse. I not an LPN as of yet (I'm am LPN student), but I was wondering something. You said that you had never work with psych pts before right? so if u never had any experience with these types of pts, then why did u get a job working with them? I suggest u get a job working in area that u feel more comfortable working in. As for the meds problem, you're a "newbie" and it happenes to everyone. please don't get discouraged. Why don't u try to give the pts whio take their meds the easiest, first. Then give meds to the pts are a little hard to deal with last. Also what works is thaT IF U SET UP AN organizational system. Give meds to those pts that are top priority (for example, pts on Insulin). This not only makes u more organized, but improves your time of passing meds more effciently.I really hope this helps. it's just my .
