Re: LPN to RN
I think it's more of a cost matter. I'm a LPN for one year now and I've been looking into going back to school since I graduated. Seems like online is more expensive and you have to be super disaplined to make it through. You wouldn't wanna slack and waste your time and money. But, on the other hand, when you are in nursing school you pretty much have no life anyways so it would probably be hard to work full time and study anyways.
I know Rue Education has some good online options for the LPN to RN. You can take one class at a time and you can take and finish them at your own pace. When you finish the book and the workbook that goes along with it, you go to person vue (same place as where you take your boards) and test outta the class. Passing is in the 70's. Not a bad idea if you have the cash. All that really matters is if you pass the NCLEX. If you know how to study. U should be fine online. That's how I see it anyways.
