LPN graduated with associates

Hi,

I have been an LPN for over a year now, however I just graduated from an ADN program in May. The problem I am having is that I took my NCLEX and failed and do not wish to take it again, so my question is, in the state of New Mexico, even though I have my associates degree can I still continue to work as an LPN? Or do I HAVE to pursue my RN license?

Why do you not want to take the nclex rn again?
I was going to ask the same thing. Personally, as a former LVN who completed an LPN-to-RN transition/ASN degree program, there's no way I'd let that degree go to waste.

People pass NCLEX after having initially failed it. Don't give up.

Honestly I'm just tired of failing. In nursing school failed two semesters that I had to retake so it took me twice as long to complete the program and now this. I don't feel like I'm cut out to be an RN and I don't have enough money to be taking the test over and over so that's why I just want to continue working as an LPN.
