How do I get IV certified?

Nurses LPN/LVN

Updated:   Published

Hi,

I'm in a LPN class in North Carolina and I was wondering where and how I get IV Certified? I believe ( I don't know for sure so I apologize) that you have to have one to work med/surge in this area, and I soooo do not want to do the nursing home route. Any information would be much appreciated.

thanks

Hello,I am new to this.I have been a LPN in Maine for 16 years.I received my IV Certification through the hospital I was working in.The facility I am in now keeps offering refresher courses also offered from the Pharmacy that provides us meds.

I am looking to see what average wages for LPN's is in South Carolina?Anyone help?

I love the state and want to relocate but I am curious about pay scales, oppurtunities, etc.

Thanks:uhoh3: :)

I recently moved from SouthCarolina(the Charleston area) and Lpn's make about $13 /hr in a dr's office and $18. in a hospital per diem. The wages are low but the benefits are pretty good.
