BVNPT - paid in person, no license 8 weeks later

Has anyone paid their fee IN PERSON and received a temporary certificate to work?

I drove up to Sacramento on May 13th, paid the fee with a money order, and received a temp certificate.

The woman told me that my official number should be posted online in 3-5 weeks.

I have been checking EVERY DAY for the past 7 weeks -- NOTHING!!!!

I called and spoke to the operator on 7/2 who said my fee was processed the day before, and should be posted in 1 week. I emailed and was told my fee was processed on June 18th, and it takes 4-6 weeks from when your fee/documents are received. (Hmmm, who's right/who's wrong?) :cautious:

My temp certificate expires this weekend, and I'm afraid my official number won't be posted before that... :cry:

I have two part-time jobs lined up, and I'm sure they are going to want to verify my license soon....

OH BTW, there is NO way to verify your temporary certificate. If you look up the number online, it will pop up as someone else's name - probably a nurse who had their license suspended/revoked... :banghead:

THANKS BVN!!! They hold us accountable for EVERY MINOR DETAIL, but can't be held accountable themselves. What a crock. :no:

I know!! Me too i am really worried I cant find a job but my temp lic will expires in aug. but i have no job offers yet
