Nurses LPN/LVN

I'm so tired of where I live and I plan on just packing my bags and hitting the road. I was wondering where are some of the places I should look into that has great opportunities and pay for LPN's and which cities should I avoid all together?

I live in Upstate NY right now.

I live in Upstate NY right now.

I'm orginally from Long Island, N.Y. when I was home I worked 7 days a week.

I was signed up at two homecare agencies and did PRN work at a nursing home for a private case. My phone kept ringing off the hook. I signed with Gentiva..

Try "All Metro Healthcare" they have offices upstate. I know for sure Albany and Schenectady have offices (518) 426-0283 or call the Babylon, Long Island office at (631)422-2300 and ask for the location near you.

Don't come to Las Vegas nursing sucks really bad here if your not an RN.

I'm in the Airforce now and like I said, I am use to working all the time as an LPN.

I had to turn down work just to get some sleep!!

In Las Vegas it sucks I'm signed with two agencies and my phone never rings! I'm living off my Airforce salary totally. I never had to do that ever, in Long Island before I goined steady work. In Virgina,(my first duty station), Hawaii (my second duty station) I worked.. Didn't need a second job in Germany I got paid extra for being there and I traveled on my off time..

I hope my information helps you.

Good Luck!

LAS VEGAS IS A NO GO!:nono:

The med pass is only about 30 inmates that takes about 30 - 40 minutes to complete. The good news is they don't take the 10, 11, 12 meds each like you see in LTC. This is what makes the TWO med passes in LTC per shift so bad. My first med pass on PM shift in LTC took 3 hours to complete....yes 3!! My smaller med pass took over an hour. As an MTA you only have to do meds about 3 1/2 months the entire year as we rotate the med position. Your main duty is the saftey rounds, escorting, and providing security / custody on the unit floors. (I.E protecting the Dr's and RN's).

HI big B

I need your help with filling out the application, What kind of Personal History are they requiring to be notarized? or is the whole package needing to be notarized?

Hello,

Please tell me more about MTA/LVN. I am very interested in hearing more about this. What form of training ect...
