Ace foundations exam?

Has anyone taken the ACE foundations of nursing exam? I need to take it in order to enroll in an advanced LPN to RN program. I desperately need some direction as to what is best to use as study material for this test. Please someone help me out and suggest some study material for this exam. Thanks so much!

Yes I took the test and passed with an 86%. Book 1 foundation was not hard at all. I studied Kaplan for test taking stategies which was very helpful. I studied ATI Foundation of Nursing and practiced with NCLEX 3000.

The drugs I remembered are Coumadin, Heparin, Digoxin, PRotamine Sulfate, Aspirin. Know signs of toxicity and lab values eg. PT, PTT. Very basic Med Surg, stuff you really don’t have to study for like monitoring for circulation, sensation and motion in the extremity with a patient that has a cast and safety is a primary concern for someone that is having a seizure.

Know ABG values, signs of infiltration of an IV, different kinds of reaction to blood transfusion. I’m remembering the hard stuff. It’s a very basic test just find I read the fundamentals of nursing by ATI book three times and took the practice questions from NCLEX 3000 3 times for each questions. Good luck.

I’m taking the OB/Peds section around June 27,2008 any advice from anyone would be appreciated.
