I must admit that I am nervous about applying to Charity School of Nursing. I am currently a Medical Assistant and I would like to advance to become an RN however I need to work a full time job while in school I have two kids. Which program is how can I word this do you think would benefit me the LPN or RN? For the RN program has anyone attended or will be attending the night program?

Specializes in ICU.

I understand you fear (as I also have kids and need to work). It can be done, you just have to be very organized (with a schedule, etc). One thing that helped me was that I left my lab job for a desk job during school so that I would be able to study on down time, etc. If it is possible for you to get a job that is not strenuous at all, that would definitely help you. But if not, then handle your business and make up your mind to succeed no matter what.
