OLOL Accelerated Nursing Pharm Notes

I have the complete notes for OLOL Acclerated RN Program in Pharm (Nurs 100) if someone would like them. The class is extraordinarily difficult, and it would be wise to check out the material prior to class starting.

I am waiting to see if I was accepted for the EJ program for September. I would like to get a copy of the notes for Pharm and any others. I want to try and get started on getting ready. I am being very optimistic about being accepted into the program. I do not know how to send a private message. I would appreciate any help.

I am also feeling optimistic and nervous at the same time. If for some reason I don't get into EJ, I will apply to West Jeff...One of the users who has the notes is Dsoginer. I received a PM from her & tried to reply, but I'm not sure if it worked or not because I can't actually initiate PMs. I, too, would like to get ahold of these notes. Where did you do your prereqs and do you have any more to complete before the program starts? Good luck.

I did my prereqs at Delgado. I am taking my last one this summer, which is a Math class. You mentioned about West Jeff having a program. Where can I get info about this? I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully, we will be meeting very soon when we are in the program.

Hi, OLOL works in conjunction w/ Tulane, EJGH, West Jeff, & I think the OLOL hospital in Baton Rouge. I don't know too much about their Baton Rouge program, but from what I have gathered, Tulane gives you a stipend every month while you are in school in exchange for contract with Tulane hospital (I also heard you had to work Med/Surg for a year or two as part of the deal - just a rumor - you should definitely confirm this with anyone you speak to if you are interested). I believe West Jeff gives a stipend plus tuition reimbursement (once again - confirm on your own) and EJGH gives tuition reimbursement w/ no stipend). As far as I know, you need to contract w/ whichever hospital you get your education through in order to get tuition reimbursement.

There is an office in New Orleans and if you call the Baton Rouge number they will give you the name and number of the lady you need to speak w/ in New Orleans who knows the ins & outs of the programs. There is also a very helpful person in Baton Rouge Admissions office that you can get more info from by calling their main #. You can apply to more than one program and see if you get extended an interview, but I believe that once you are accepted into one of them, you don't get to change your mind.

Check out this link for deadlines & contact info. The West Jeff deadline is in August & I think the program starts in Jan, so you would know if you were in EJ's program by the time you reached West Jeff's deadline, so save the $35 until you know you need to spend it. :) Best of Luck.

I have A & P II lecture this summer to take & then I'm done w/ Delgado. OH, BTW, I have heard also from someone in admissions that a Micro Lab is going to be added to the prereqs for 2010, so if you think you might be applying to West Jeff, you might want to get that out of the way. I went ahead and scheduled it for the summer just incase. I figured if they are making it a prereq then we'll probably benefit from taking the class anyhow.
