LSU BSN Fall 2014 Semester

U.S.A. Louisiana

Hey everyone! I was a spring 2014 applicant, I received an alternate letter so I am crossing my fingers I have better luck this semester! I know everyone probably feels like a huge weight is lifted off their shoulders as today was the application deadline. But now the nervousness is kicking in! I created this thread because I figured we all need the moral support - or at least I know I do lol! I hope I can be of help to anyone who may have questions as far as interviews and the time frame of this process! Good Luck to all of you!! ;):)

Had anyone received a letter yet today?

Hey so i received a call today saying i got in!!!!! wohoo!!! i hope everyone gets news soon. Goodluck. Oh and i added requested to be in the Facebook group so someone allow me in lol!! i am so excited and can't wait to meet everyone!!!

what time yday did you get a call?

Ive been also waiting to get a letter, this is so frustrating! I hate to be negative but i really doubt this "new" batch they sent its anything but good news.

I have also been wait-listed... How did yall get phone calls???

Okay, I'm starting to freak out as finals week creeps up and my GPA is at its most vulnerable! Are there any tips that those who have gotten accepted or just know the process have to offer? Is volunteering at a hospital pivotal prior to applying? I'm so nervous! Congrats to everyone who got in by the way!

I just talked to someone in student affairs and she told me that all of the letters are sent out. She also asked me for updated contact info, and told me that If I still don't receive a letter by Tuesday, to call back.

For those who were on the waitlist, did y'all receive your letters beginning of April? And they called you to tell you that you were accepted? I'm starting to think that I'll have to reapply

I just called Student Affairs and they said my letter was sent out on April 25 (which was a while ago) so it should be here any day now. I'm just hoping for the best right now. Congrats to everyone who was accepted !

Hello everyone and congrats on getting in! I'm currently just completing my soph1 year at LSUHSC. I have a couple of items that I am willing to donate if anyone is interested: 2 sets of anatomy flashcards, Vander's Human Physiology textbook. The textbook is the international edition but it is exactly the same as the american edition. I had no problems with it. There is some highlighting in a couple of the chapters ( not like whole pages of highlights, just key phrases). I know textbooks can get super expensive so if anyone is interested, let me know! Get ready for a wild ride! You will love it! They will try to scare you at orientation and tell you stories about all the people who failed, but DON'T buy into it! You will be fine.
